It is iffy selling any vehicle that the crooks want for spares of ringing.

It used to be risky when selling BMW's or Audi's, now they are looking to steal any vehicle with a good spares market.

Sadly this person's Galaxy is either now "rung" or stripped for spares to keep some Taxis or Private Hire Galaxy's on the road cheaply.

Unfortunately very accurate, I blame the dealerships for charging so damn much for spare parts and the manufacturers for designing parts that can only be fitted/programmed/setup by the dealerships.

Unfortunately, the Spelling and Grammar Police patrol these forums day and night, and they have a zero tolerance approach.

Nasty experience, and i'm glad the lady wasn't hurt...lucky, it could have been worse.

I recently sold my pick up and fielding or even picking through the emails trying to find a normal person wasn't easy...i put off several by email and phone who sounded not quite right...usually trying to reduce the price, which wasnt going to happen.

Eventually sold it to a dealer who offered me better money than any private buyer, and paid me by BCC before even seeing the vehicle...after a constructive telephone discussion we'd mutually recognised a man of his word....if anyone wants to find an honourable dealer (Harrogate) PM me.

No reg no on the ad, and no address given out till any potential buyer passes your own vetting is wise, depending on value and type of vehicle, too many scumbags out there.

i know to some its obvious that no one in this country would write ''hello seller'' but some arent that experienced

scamers know that they ll suceed only to few and that seem to bee good enough return to them
