  • replace your door from ebay or somewere, if you cannot get 1 I can ask my friends in the yard, Private message me if you cant get them.
As for the sill, you will be better off with putting a side skirt on.

One has to ask why you chose to keep it quiet from your insurance?
A door is not going to be cheap, and neither is the work unless you are capable of doing it yourself.
A door and sill vs NCD? How much NCD do you have?

I'm getting the feeling there's something dodgy re. insurance, or maybe it wasn't your car, and the owner won't take the blame or costs.

OP might only have 1 or 2 years NCD will would put the OP back to zero and a 40%+ hike in premiums. Doesnt have to be dodgy.

I think ur supposed to report any accident even if you dont intend to claim but what they dont know cant hurt them? Unless they find out and cancel your insurance then ur screwed.

    How's the bollard?

You sure you weren't caught on camera when you hit it?
