I got some bath bombs from superdrug yesterday. At the moment a 6 pack (the blue ones) are £1.69 and are on 3 for 2! This makes them 19 pence each. For some reason the lilac and pink ones are £2.69 per pack but are still on 3 for 2.
Hope this helps.0 -
My daughter came back from a party last week and everyone got a small selection box. She was well chuffed at the thought of all the chocolate.0

I noticed in Tesco that their bath bombs were pretty reasonable but I can't remember the price.
Last year I bought a load of smellie bits from M&S that were on 3 for 2. Another thing to look for is bath confetti which usually comes in packs of 5/6, test tube style and you can split the pack up into the girls party bags. New Look is quite good for these and you can probably get them with nail polish and/or lippies that can be split up giving each little girl one each.0 -
ive just done my little girls party and in the girls bags i put them all a polly pocket in 99p from home bargains(selling same ones at £4ish in woolies!!) the nice thing was they were party girl polly pockets too!and little toy cars 99p from home bargains for boys and for older boys shoot out football cards(3 packets each at 39p a pack) and then i filled them up with sweets, balloon, party biscuit wrapped up,chocolate coin, cake and a thankyou card made on wwwdltk-kids.com which is free (i did disney princess for girls/spiderman for boys)hope this helps with ideas and enjoy the party!0

Hi, thx to all of you that posted, some really helpful suggestions.
Have pm'd you Harri2.
We haven't got a home bargains so went to in-store as suggested instead. Got some hideously ugly tiny dress em up trolls which the girls will adore :rotfl: 99p each and were on 3 for 2.
Similarly got some little dress em up soldiers and pirates, same 3 for 2 deal again but they are tiny so would just like a little something extra for the boys - the whistles, balls, blowers suggested are great, but I've done them to death. They'll get a couple of funsize chocs anyway, so no more sweeties.
But great ideas from everyone as usual :T"Sumptus censum ne superet"

Yeah..whatever :rolleyes:0 -
I dont know if your boys are into collecting "shoot out" cards - (football trading cards) but DS is mad about them. They cost 35p a packet and all his friends collect them - we put 2 packets in his party bags on Sat with some sweets and you would have thought I gave them £1million!!0

Football swap cards, that's a great idea!!!
My kids always throw the ripped up plastic bag and the cheap sweets on the car seat anyway, they never even reach the house!!!
I look on ebay for bouncy balls and wooden pencils,I also found some fab eco friendly Fabric party bags really cute and a permanent keepsake, try

Funny name ,but quick delivery of unusual stuff.
Hair bobbles always go down well for girls and mini cars for boys!!!0 -
I know your children are older but I got loads of halloween outfits, witches etc for about £1.50 each and I'm giving these to kids as party presents. Theory is they can dress up in them at the party then take them home. A piece of cake and a few sweets, hey presto fab party gifts for 3 year olds0

How about a book from the book people - they had 32 (I think) thomas the tank ones for £19.99 not long back and I'm sure they will repeat it.0
