I know you said a CEO has issued it, can you just confirm it is a council ticket?
If it is, go to https://www.pepipoo.com for this, register read the FAQs then post up a new thread, you will need scans of both sides of your pcn, photos of the area and signs if possible, and any letters sent or received, scan them in omitting details lthat can identify you.
If its not, name and shame the company, then ignore utterly.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Your the one spelling it wrong they have spelt it correctly if your post is right, cant help on the other point though sorry0

Surely you know how to spell the make of your own car? :rotfl:Gone ... or have I?0 -
The make of the car is not a requirement, so it doesn't actually matter if they misspell I'm afraid.0

Classic! :T
But your unfortunate spelling mistake doesn't mean you cannot either:
appeal if it's a Council Penalty Charge (real PCN) - but please, not on the spelling grounds!
or
ignore it if it's a private Parking Charge (fake PCN).
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

1) Check your V5 document, as I suspect the DVLA may also have mis-spelled the make of your vehicle;
2) Find somewhere that does remedial English classes, with the emphasis on use of punctuation, and capitalisation of proper names and pronouns.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Certainly made my day...0

Be nice people. We can all make a mistake.
To scorpioclaw, can you tell us a little more about the circumstances in which you came to get the PCN? Or better still post up a copy of it (front and back) obscuring any identifiable information.0
