Hi
Currently I have sky tv, sky talk, o2 broadband , bt line rental.
I got an offer through post from BT which I like and suits my needs. Just couple of questions ;
1- I think sky talk is not compulsory for sky tv. Irecently took a 12 month contract with sky for tv. I think I can move away from sky talk during this! Am I correct!
2- if I go to bt for 12 month line rental saver, I can still have myo2 broadband. What happens if move house. Is it true that Bt provide line rental everywhere in uk and so I just need to call them to transfer the line?
3- I heard somewhere if I go to o2 or talk talk for line rental and if move Home I need to go to BT back first. Is this true!
Thanks

1. Yes.
2. Almost everywhere (some new estate have exclusivity deals with non-BT providers).
3. That's the LLU problem. In most cases, if you go to a line provider which LLU's your line, you have to go back to BT on a 'return to donor' basis before you can change to another provider.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
