no, not if dont use it, esp if you already have something like microsoft office, openoffice or libreoffice (or use either google docs or office web apps for your essay writing) then you definately dont need it.0

Uninstall it with Revo Uninstaller to make sure it goes completely:

Also feel free to try PC Decrapifier as it will make more suggestions of what you can remove if you choose to:

As Jayme says, if you haven't used it then you don't need it. It doesn't hurt to leave though, and with a compatibility pack you can read most MS Office files (except for the latest formatting I believe).0 -
No. The only time you may need it (at our work once a month...) is when someone is trying to print their work off and they've not got office and have only saved it in a works format. But otherwise no! Open Office could well be the way forward anyway.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

be a bit wary with ccleaner and the like, if you use them too much they can delete stuff it thinks isn't needed anymore when really it is, had some problems with it before.
To OP: Microsoft Works is basically a free crappy version of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc). It has the very basic functions of Office and is normally a pain when you have created a file in Works and someone else tries to open it in Office. My recommendation: Get OpenOffice if you are strapped for cash, otherwise find a cheap Microsoft Office on eBay or somewhereBest Freebies/Wins/Testers so far: HP Officejet Pro 8500, Vax Zen, Thorpe Park Tks, 2x Rockwell Tkts, Windows 7, 2x Chelsea vs Arsenal Tkts, Genio Phone, JLS Tickets, 2 PSP games, 2 Xbox 360 games, iPod Touch, Blackberry Torch, Westlife Tkts, Tinie Tempah tkts, New York Trip AND MORE...Thanks to all posters on here:beer::T0 -
