I totally agree. I am not too well at the moment, and as a conciquence(my excuse anyway!) have been watching far more telly than I would normally and have been watching "cra*py" stuff to cheer myself up One of the funniest things I have come across are the various shopping channels-there is one that currently is selling a 5' 5" dancing father christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!! they also sell socks;singing dogs;and all types of things that are jaw droppingly awful. Anyway was flicking over and came across their second chanel(its the company that are based in M/C. only to find one of the presenters talking very earnstly to camera. What was he selling? Oh you know just A DEBT MANAGMENT COMPANY PUSHING A DMP for their viewers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Words fail me. Since I saw that I have been keeping)half)an eye on them over a three day(!!) period I have seen the ad 6 TIMES I haven't been watching that much either. Totally IMMORAL in my opinion.

They are awful i cringe at even the thought of watching them, but ive known friends who have called them up in the past, BTW this was before i knew about MSE
  • i just don't see the problem with people advertising, its a job, its money...why begrudge people that right to earn money.

People should take full responisbility for what they do, whether it is taking one of these loans etc. Carol Vordeman (sp) does not stand there with a gun saying, 'take that loan, put urself in more debt' If people don't analyse the situation fully then thats there own fault!

CV doesn't force people at gunpoint to take out loans but people do seem to trust her as she has a reputation for being good with figures. I don't blame her for making money doing the ads but I know I couldn't live with my conscience doing that as it's targeting vulnerable people who maybe aren't as clued up as the rest of us.
