Suprisingly not, but if you ask then it must be provided(with exclutions).

I am actually pregnant and therefore under clause 4 I should not even have to request it.
I asked for it in writing and was refused.

Agree they should put it in writing.
Not sure of the options if they don't, written notice protects both parties since it make the dates clear
