Faulty Clutch Fitted

Hi All
I bought a National Auto clutch last week and had it fitted by my garage. After they fitted it they said there was bad judder etc and there is something wrong with the clutch.
They contacted the supplier and then National in turn, and they said they would pay only £35 per hour towards the re-fitting required to replace the faulty clutch. They said this is the 'national average' but my garage as do most reputable garages around London charges £55 per hour and it is a 5 hour job, meaning that i would be out of pocket for £100+ and also all the inconvenience etc.
Is this right? Can they do that? Seems very wrong to me but . . . .
Any help, assistance and advice very gratefully received, thanks in advance.

Tell them that they should book you in at an approved service centre that charges £35/h and you'll accept, otherwise you'll book it into your own place and it'll cost them £55/h...0

It might be worth your while seeing if you can get hold of a copy of the "I.M.C.E manual" (whatever that is, and seeing what it states for the estimated time to fit a clutch and also what hourly rate it gives.Any re-imbursement of fitting charges (where applicable) will be calculated using the I.C.M.E standard fitting times and the National hourly labour allowance which are in use at the time the claim is processed
