Oil & Filter change cost
Hi
I wanted to know how luch roughly it should cost to get a oil & filter change done.
I am refurring to local garages not the main dealerships.
Also how oftern should you get it down. I have been told 6 months by someone then 1 year and now 2 years.
So a bit confused
Thanks

It will depend on your car make/model, what does your car service/handbook suggest?0

Get the oil £25 and filter £6 yourself and it's around £15-£20 labour.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I posted about this very recently.
I just had mine done at National for £31 with Magnatec. The price seems to vary with the amount of oil required, although Kwik Fit appears to offer a fixed price of £29 (£39 for Mobil 1).
Depends how much you trust these places really. I don't think there's that much they can really get wrong, and I don't mind paying £10 or so above the cost of oil and a filter to avoid getting messy myself.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0
