Will I Get a Mortgage?

I've posted something similar before about an AIP, but I want to get people's views on a full mortgage application.

We are FTB buying a house for £117.850 with a £35,355 deposit. We are earning £19141 and £17000 PA I've got around £3000 of debt with no missed payments in the last 12 months, but I do have a few on an old account from around 3 years ago which is not fully settled. My partner pays her full balance on her CC each month and has no other debt.

We came back with an AIP from Santander to borrow up to £95,000 we also came back with an A Class rating and something about being fast tracked?

I know no one has a crystal ball, but from what I've said above should we have a problem getting a mortgage?

Really? On the basis of the debt or the missed payments? Does are low LTV not help at all?

No. You should have no problem. Exactly what Conrad said. :D

I hope you're not stressed about homebuying? You've hardly started yet! Still, plenty of good advice on here. ;):D

Just heard back from our broker and the mortgage was approved this afternoon! Not a bad turn around considering it was only sent in on Thursday afternoon. Thanks for all the support and advice found on these boards.

Congratulations! If they've said you will be fast tracked, it means that they don't see yours as a potential problem application so they won't be going through the application with a fine tooth comb and looking at all of your payslips, bank statements etc.

Unless your case is one of the random ones that gets "sampled" and they ask for everything anyway.

Which will be no issue if your broker has done his job properly. Have you provided all documentation such as payslips, ID and proof of address to your broker?

Yes, he took copies of everything from us when we did the AIP. I'm glad we found a broker who knew what he was doing.

He is on holiday this week, but still got in contact to confirm that we had the mortgage.
