Do you have a theme? Maybe make it a Masquerade Ball? Or base the name on colours you have to wear such as a Scarlet Ball, women in red, men with red cummerbunds?

Sorry, its all I could come up with at the moment! :o

    The Charles Brenton Huggins Ball

Born in September in 1901 so it's an anniversary.

You could have a Canadian / lumberjack theme, or a Chicago / gangster / jazz theme.

But I admit it's not immediately obvious.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

How about the "Check your" ball but qwith a fancy spelling for check your? ( Czech Cure maybe?)
it does tie in with the reason you're holding the ball...

We created an organisation that is holding a ball. We chose the name Blue Skies Ahead as it suggests positive thinking and good times ahead :o)

Try thinking of a name that reflects your aims

Anagrams: Why not try this route. There are so many words that can be made from "Cancer - research - ball" etc.
You could have an open invitation to all and sundry to "Create a name". I'm sure you could find an appropriate winners prize...( chocs) or just for fun and recognition. Good Luck anyway.
