Credit Card Payment - No service provided?

  • Apologies for the delayed reply, the AA did have my car for 8 hours, although they were not working on it for the full 8 hours. There was a complete check which took around 2.5 hours.
I was simply trying to make a point of how thorough the check would have been by this company if they were needing to be at another place 40 minutes later?
I have gone down the normal route of complaining to them initially, they have only just supplied me a copy of the T&Cs. The cancellation fee on here says £70 which is what they are trying to charge me instead of £50, however on their website it says £35?!? I completely understand the need to charge for missed appointments & their costs & am happy to pay this but being its being completely misinformed that I do not agree with. My main problem is they have taken £160 which they have had for over a month now & have now increased the charge to £70 and I had never been made aware of any of this. I am worried about affording the interest on the payment as I did not know they were going to charge my credit card.
