Lost my current account debit card in January so rang up and they said they'd send a new one. It never arrived. I rang up in February and they that they'd send a replacement. It ever arrived. i ran up and asked if I could collect it from my local branch. They said yes and asked my address. They made an appointment for 10 o'clock this morning for me to collect it.
I went and guess what.
It wasn't there. The branch had no knowledge of it.
When I returned home there was a letter waiting. It said your card will be at your local branch 14 days from the date of this letter. It gave my local branch as London Bridge. I live near Leeds.
I rang up to change things and the nice lady said no problem. She redirected it to my local branch. Just before we closed the call she said "Can I take you through security?". I pointed out that it was a bit late as she'd done all I asked. She said "Ooops"

The card that they said they were going to send to a london branch in 14 days arrived at my local branch tuesday. Today the manager rang me and said we've got your card! I said I'd call in and collect it. Half an hour later they rang again and said because I'd been in touch with customer services about sending the card to the wrong branch they had cancelled it and were sending another one to the local branch.
I will wait and see if card No. 4 arrives anywhere interesting and keep you posted.Beep Beep0 -
