Holiday/Travel insurance for Sicily after UN decision

Hi there,
We're flying to Sicily on 30th of this month with Easyjet, and my travel insurance is due for renewal. We're staying in a holiday house there.
I've just heard the UN is using Sicily as a base for military flights to Libya and just wanted to make sure we are covered in case our stay in Sicily is affected by it. (My MIL wants us to cancel our holiday!)
Forgive me if I'm being overcautious, but we found ourselves on a very extended holiday last year because of the volcanic disruption, and our insurance flat refused to pay for the delay, so I want to cover any eventuality just in case.
Can anyone please advise?

Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.

Just as well you are not going to Ryanair as apparently they usually fly into the military base, and have had to re-route their planes!0
