I know I've seen these queries before but search didnt seem to find one exactly the same as this.
My daughter has messed up password change on her Samsung netbook and cannot get logged in. Its running Windows 7 starter.
I know I should have created an admin account for this but didnt so would welcome any help please.
Starting in safe mode still brings me to password screen so I assume I need some specific software to run on a usb?
Thanks

Is it the W7 or the Samsung password she has messed up?My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Obviously I hope this is really your laptop and you're not being naughty;) but there are various ways of doing what you need to do, mostly you'll need a CD drive:

Some can be complicated so take your time.0 -
HO87, its the windows log in.
23n1th, definetly mine, but take the point that there is no way to assure you of this. Problem is of course that netbook does not have CD drive only USB ports. Thanks for info I'll have a read through them.0 -
In that case I would imagine you'd need something like this: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/linux/create-a-bootable-ubuntu-usb-flash-drive-the-easy-way/0
