Thanks everyone. I've been over to DD's today to look at this pushchair and I had a go at taking my granddaughter out in it. It's a perfectly functional pushchair when baby is facing outwards, but when facing the person pushing her (which was the reason this particular model was bought) it's extremely difficult as the weight is all wrongly distributed. I had great difficulty with it, so I 'get' where DD is coming from now.
We've decided to stick it on Ebay, as we've seen another pushchair with good reviews for £200 online - so fingers crossed this £350 stroller gets enough in to buy the nice one that will actually work.
DD did tell the sales assistant in M&P that she would take £300 back for it as the sales assistant had said the stroller was in perfect condition apart from one scratch on a tyre... but M&P said no. So off to Ebay we go.0 -

just wanted to send (((hugs))) I've been though that too.
Nice to know M&P were sympathetic in your case... wasn't so for us, but at at that point in time it was the least of our worries so we didn't push. When I got pg again a few months later we made sure we didn't buy a single M&P product though!0 -
Even tho it has been used outdoors for only 20 yards its has still been used outdoors has it not ?
Are m+p saying that they would have refunded if it hadnt been used outdoors then ?
We have a M+P Pliko Quattro travel boxed up in the loft ready for our little one on the way (January) hope we dont have any problems, it was bought 6 months ago from Kiddicare for £300 cheaper than the M+P shop/website price :eek:0
