Charity Rip-off!

just pop the black bag into the scam charity bag and they always take it.
A problem might arise if the scammers later find the bag of rubbish and just dump it in the nearest ditch.
If the council decide to do an investigation and find anything that connects it back to you, you might end up being accused of flytipping.
Fair enough, the council wouldn't be able to prove anything, but it may still involve a lot of effort and stress on your part until it was sorted out.0 -
The vast majority of these charity bag schemes are either rip-offs or run by limited companies on behalf of the charities. Very few charities actually use their own people/volunteers/vans. So if you give away a bag of stuff worth £10 then maybe 50p will go to the charity. Charities try and justify the 50p income as better than nothing - in that case have nothing from me! Why not just give the stuff to a charity shop where the full value will be realised? The man without a signature.0

..The clothes are sold on in eastern europe or weighed in. You will even see the collectors - in unmarked vans - picking up genuine charity bags that have been left out.
Yep... As proof, I took this pic in Ukraine...“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
Anyone who leaves charity bags outside their house want their head examining if they actually think the clothes end up at the charity.Charity shops are losing millions of pounds because donations of clothes are being stolen by organised criminal gangs.
