However I think there may be an exception for the set of lights behind NGH, but the road only leads to a dead end by a school and the back entrance to the Hospital, and they certainly change slower if you just drive up to them, they change before you get to them f you have your blues on or flash your lights.
Is it possible that they retained the old tech on these lights due to their position and the benefit of the older tech in this one situation.
I know the road work lights back in Scotland in the late '80s where light sensitive, mainly because traffic lights where a novelty, the only ones for 120 miles where for roadworks!
As far as I am aware traffic lights were never light sensitive. I think you must be imagining it. If they were, they would just change at random at any light source.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
