Swiftcover, Gocompare & Moneysupermarket

I am in the process of trying to sort out car insurance and came across a strange result while using Gocompare and Moneysupermarket.

I first used gocompare and it returned a cheapest quote of approx £700 (my wife has no no-claims) with Swiftcover. I then did the same with Moneysupermarket and the cheapest quote was £500 with swiftcover.

I know that Gocompare and swiftcover are partners of some kind but the difference in quotes seems to be too good to be true?

I've double checked the cheaper quote on swiftcover's own website and it all looks ok.

Can anyone shed any light on why the quotes would be so different?

Thanks

Different cover? Benefits? Excess? I take it your wife has had claims? Sometimes that information doesn't get transmitted properly. There could be 101 reasons why the prices different.
