Tips for car insurance for over 80's

My parents are both over 80 and have been quite shocked by the car insurance quotes that they have received from Saga and Aviva.
Alas it seems that most regular insurers won't cover the over 80's at all.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a 'fair' over 80's insurance company?
They both have over 10 years no claims and do a minimal number of miles <6000 in a Toyota Visia automatic.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Have you tried the comparison sites?
There are many companies that specialise in insurance for older drivers - 2 that I can think of are
http://www.ageuk.org.uk/buy/age-uk-motor-insurance/buying-age-concern-motor-insurance/
and
http://www.rias.co.uk/over_80s_insurance/?s=000026
Hope this helps.0 -
Use a comparison site. The ones that don't want to quote will be excluded.
Use a false phone number and email unless you are very lonely and want lots of calls.0 -
Thanks for the tips. I'll check them out.0
