Got my code off the sun, it arrived yesterday :j

The sun info said that the dates avaliable for each park would be printed with the parks info but I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know if the exact dates each park is avaliable to book have been printed somewhere?

Also, I've never taken the kids abroad before and I'm really considering it this time. Can anyone recommend a good park close to a beach/resort area and not too far to drive off the ferry or close to an airport with cheap flights? Does the sun insurance include car breakdown cover? Any hints or tips anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated :)

La Croix Du Vieux Pont is lovely, and approx 3 hours drive from the tunnel / ferry ( we tend to go via Eurotunnel using Tesco clubcard deals)
really nice site an hours drive from Disneyland Paris
    fab for kids,good pool etc
No beach as such, but lakes and a manmade "beach area" onsite

Having a change this yr though, and going to Le Ranolien in Brittany approx 2.5 hours deive from Roscoff ( booked the ferry from Plymouth, fab bargain through the SUN )

There are some resorts in Spain that you could fly to
or some of the South Of France ones, but expensive for food etc once you are there!

Does anybody know if the foreign ones include travel? Anyone ever done an overseas one before? Had a mooch round the sun website but not much info on there in their FAQ...
No,travel is not included in the base price

You have the opportunity to book a discounted ferry though...

We don't usually bother though as we book Eurotunnel using Tesco deals
but for our May trip to Brittany we got a fab bargain on an overnight ferry crossing going via the SUN

The European sites are fab,you don't pay for entertainments passes,
although there is a £15 insurance damage waiver thingy to add

We can only go during school holidays,so make a huuuuge saving! compared to booking direct, or with one of the big companies eg Eurocamp / Siblu etc

Has anyone had an extra bonus word on their priority booking form this time or do you think the sun learnt their lesson from the uproar they caused last time?!!

    What uproar was that then?

Could someone please spare a moment to explain to me how these codes work?

Do you need the vouchers to get the holiday or only the code words?

    Thanks

If you have a priority booking form and can book on line then you only need the codes words if you have to send of the booking form you will need the vouchers. Hope this helps
