In the past the availability for august bank holiday has been mainly Pontins i think.

These are the starting dates for Sun holidays from £15:


Monday-Friday (4 night breaks): May 30, June 6, 13, 20, 27 July 4, 11, 18 August 22, 29 September 5


Friday-Monday (3 night breaks): June 3, 10, 17, 24 July 1, 8, 15, 22 August 26 September 2


Note: Not all parks are available on all dates. :beer:

The sun info said that the dates avaliable for each park would be printed with the parks info but I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know if the exact dates each park is avaliable to book have been printed somewhere?

Also, I've never taken the kids abroad before and I'm really considering it this time. Can anyone recommend a good park close to a beach/resort area and not too far to drive off the ferry or close to an airport with cheap flights? Does the sun insurance include car breakdown cover? Any hints or tips anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated

I've been to Duinrell in Holland (top entry on Google search) - it is a long drive though, we stopped over in Belgium for a night to break up the journey.

But the site has an amusement park on site (which is free) plus a very good water park on site (2 or 3 Euros for entry) which would be great for children.
