Right - time to re-join the happy throng I think. Have been AWOL and lurking a bit and trying to carry on fluttering and not doing too bad. Dh was unemployed last time I was here and is now full time with weird shifts and I am still full time with loads more responsibilities and work to bring home. House is okish mostly and we are decluttering slowly apart from all my school stuff.

Am going to try to stick to routines a bit more (honest) to try to keep on top of stuff and have signed up to do a 10k walk for local hospice in June so need time to fit that in as well.

Would value any ideas of how to squeeze a great deal of work into all this (I usually have about 2 hours a night to do and some on weekends - I always have Friday night off) Obviously giving up work would be my preferred option:rotfl:
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

I'll take the 'too big' stuff out of the spare pink chest of drawers and stuff it in a box under the cot and put Dots stuff in there.. or swap them over so Squeak has the pink chest and Dot the black one if it is more gender suited..

Have to admit, was thinking more of Dot and Squeak having a drawer each as their beds. :p Would solve your cot problem too - then you'd 'just' have to sort the pram out.

I am decluttering a coffee and a satsuma or something like. Then off to do my dailies.

Welcome back, Dorastar. I'm in a similar position, but not one to give advice as I'm still scrambling around after more than a year on here. Routines sound good. My problem isn't the 'how', but actually making myself get on with it when I just want to flop.

I'm on babysteps this afternoon and looking at the clock, time is on fast forward. I've tidied the LR a bit and hoovered most of the floor. At least it's as good as it was last Sunday and I feel a bit warmer. Off to pick something else from my list.

She is in a cotbed.. which will do her until she is 3 or 4 with luck.. I am so tempted to get a matching one tbh.. sad I know.

I've had loads of doubles but with bigger age gaps we could have a toddler seat on some (I have one in the loft that fits mine) but at 14 months she is too little to be in one IMO. I can't have a tandem as I am too short and feeble so it has to be side by side.. I'v had several before.. I had a black one with leopard trim for DS3 and DD3 which I loved.. there is a pic of them in it on my fb... that one was ok.. emmaljunga ones were crap and fell to pieces.. I need a decent pram shop.. might pop to John Lewis when next at his mothers.

i had a mclaren side by side which i loved but says from birth but i wouldnt say suitable for a little baby, DS2 was over 9lb before i put him in in on a fleecy liner
Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T

Car has been flyladyed, clean inside and outside, plus filled the water bottle and oil up. (and before any of you say anything, water went in the water bottlem, and oil in the oil bottle and the dip stick checked!)

Not sure what to do next or what needs doing, I feel bad just sitting brousing on here or watching telly.

Might have an apple while I think about it.

Opted for an apple and watching vets in philadelphia.

Might go to the green house in a bit and look at my seedlings, and water if needed.

    Hi all :)
I posted here a few days ago and have been fluttering a little and keeping surface stuff in order but to be honest I haven't been too well. Am ok now just very, very tired all the time. I'm also wondering if it is anything medical or to be honest due to the state of my house at the moment - I am positive that I have practically zilch energy due to the mess! I think I just look around and feel instantly drained. So basically I think I need to get my backside in gear and see if it makes a difference? I bet it will!
Hubby has gone shopping so going to load the washing machine and sort the pantry so that it is nice and decluttered and clean for when he gets back :)
Hope all are healthy and happy :)
