Many congratulations Pigpen. Should I guess that this is perhaps why you've been declaring yourself not quite up to par recently? I am guessing that we are going to have lots of decluttering of chests of drawers in the coming months ........... so that Dottie-Bubble and Squeak both have a 'room' of their own. :D

Bit of a hit and miss flying day yesterday - managed the dailies, a random sort through a box of books - some to read and go, others are off to the charity desk at work this week, couple of HHIs - but my get up and go never arrived. Plan for today is NOT to fly - that way I can't feel guilty about it - going to bake and finish off the ironing - oh and do my census form - which I have a 'thing' about doing 'on the day'.

Right, my Lincoln Fruit Loaves have just come out, and I've just time to grab an HH for me in the bathroom by which time the Ale Cakes should be ready.

Just printed off that Marmalade Madeira Cake for a try - might even let Mr B have a piece for his supper. :rotfl:

Good Morning. Lovely and sunny here.

Going to give DD a quick call then get cracking.

Toots. I will offer her Reiki. Im always giving her tips to help her calm down. She is always stressed over even little things. I say to her that she is making herself ill and just calm down.

pigpen Congratulations to you and OH.

    NO!!!! It is terrifying!

i've got 16 months between DD1 and DS - and both were sections!

    I'm sure you'll cope!

Oh and congrats - and good health vibes!

But I had noticed you posting on another 'relevant' thread.... so I had just kept my gob shut! (That's a first!)

I'll take the 'too big' stuff out of the spare pink chest of drawers and stuff it in a box under the cot and put Dots stuff in there.. or swap them over so Squeak has the pink chest and Dot the black one if it is more gender suited..

I won't cope, I have to keep thinking of ridiculous things to make me chuckle or i'd spend the entire time blubbing.

Why is it.. the only stuff I'll need to buy is the expensive stuff?? cot and double pushchair.. it is insane..

I really have to get the girls room sorted but once again the 2 people I asked for quotes from haven't bothered.. it is probably less than a days work lazy good-for-nothings!!

Been for a walk around Milton Keynes car boot, it was busy, guess where I'll be next week end selling items of interest! got to pay for my hols some how.

Off to mrt's in a bit to get boxes to box up the items of interest for next week end, as currently the junk is dumped inthe garage, one day / one year maybe I'll actually be able to get my car in there, where does it all come from.

One washing line now full, wm on again and then i'll get the second line done. Dw been unloaded and reloaded. :D

Gonna go now and spend a HHC in our room, expecting to get nothing done later when my sis is up so i best get on now.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Glad I'm not the only one.

Think my problem is I was slightly later than usual going to bed - then lost the hour - woke up this morning at a reasonable time, but went back to sleep - so felt bleuurgh when I finally woke up properly

So hoping that if I don't beat myself up over it and decide not to do anything I might potter and get some bits done anyway. (I think that makes sense)

She is in a cotbed.. which will do her until she is 3 or 4 with luck.. I am so tempted to get a matching one tbh.. sad I know.

I've had loads of doubles but with bigger age gaps we could have a toddler seat on some (I have one in the loft that fits mine) but at 14 months she is too little to be in one IMO. I can't have a tandem as I am too short and feeble so it has to be side by side.. I'v had several before.. I had a black one with leopard trim for DS3 and DD3 which I loved.. there is a pic of them in it on my fb... that one was ok.. emmaljunga ones were crap and fell to pieces.. I need a decent pram shop.. might pop to John Lewis when next at his mothers.

    Morning all

I just lost the post with my list, so will have to remember it all again. Today's must-do's (not necessarily in that order) are:

    laundry x?
    DW x2
    get dressed
    get DS2 dressed
    wake DS1
    HW with DS2
    lunch
    tea
    work
    tidy and hoover LR
go back to sports' shop for coat (DS2) and shoes (DS1)
    buy milk
have a nap (I hate it when the clocks go forward)
    wash cat's dishes
    feed cat
gargle with TCP, as my throat feels scratchy

    Now I wish I'd started sooner. :o
Will 'see' you all later. x
