Just wondered what everyone thought of this quotation. All rooms have a wall approx 4m wide by 3 or 3.5m high approx.

"To supply and install:

Lounge
Gypwall Staggered Stud Acoustic Partition System
Skim wall
Bring electric sockets forward
Replace coving and skirting
Move doorway 100mm to allow for acoustic wall and re-fit door, arcs, skirts

Bedroom 1
Gypwall Staggered Stud Acoustic Partition System
Skim wall
Bring electric sockets forward
Replace skirting

Loft Room (my note - this is a very small, slightly bigger than an airing cupboard size 'room' which we have the christmas decorations in and a loft ladder).

Gypwall Staggered Stud Acoustic Partition System
Skim wall
Move doorway 100mm to allow for acoustic wall and re-fit door, arcs, skirts
Reduce loft hatch to allow for acoustic wall

Bedroom 2
Gypwall Staggered Stud Acoustic Partition System
Skim wall
Bring electric sockets forward
Replace skirting

Total cost for Materials and labour - £2,960"

This is the partition system:

He thinks it will take about 3 days. Anyone think this is reasonable - or if it will work in blocking out music/shouting etc from next door.

Are you sure its 4.5m high? Thats nearly 17 feet. Thats 3 times the height of the average female.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

Oops! Thanks for pointing that out. It should be 3 or 3.5m high (it's a Victorian house, so they're high, but not that high!). I will edit the OP.
