puddings?

Hi there I've tried looking for a thread about puddings but am useless at searching so please forgive me if this has already been asked... I want some ideas/recipes for puddings for my little family - I am a stay at home Mum & enjoy cooking so would like to make more effort than the usual yogurt for their pudding.... Ideally the recipes I'm after would be cheap & filling things & some of them healthy (though I'm lucky they are pretty fit/healthy children so I don't mind some treats too)
Many thanks in advance

If you can make a basic sponge-cake mixture you can make a pudding. All you need is a bit of imagination and a few things in the store-cupboard to chuck into it. A few slices of apple or pears, a couple of pineapple rings can be made into an upside-down-cake and served with custard. Sprinkle a few chopped, dried dates or sultanas into it. Maybe some chopped, dried apricots or even prunes. A bit of golden syrup. Any of these could be served with yoghurt, fromage frais or creme fraiche instead. One recipe, endless possibilities.0

How about whipped cream, greek yog, honey with chopped up crunchies?Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

Puddings you can make from peft overs are useful to have ''in your head'' or close by. I love queen of puddings, bread and butter pudding (with various additions), bread pudding, meringues and messes....for any spare eggwhites.
Even grilling some fruit and serving it with yogurt can be yummy...especially if you drizzle with honey. Or fruit and yoghurt trifles ( left over cake, some fruit and yogurt on top)0 -
I must not read this thread! Trying so hard not to eat puddings!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

Hi boredjellybean,
This is the main thread on puddings/desserts. It has loads of suggestions that should help (squeaky, look away now).
Pudding and dessert recipes
I'll add your thread to it later to keep the ideas together.
