  • I thought you couldn't use your clubcard vouchers on sale goods. Am I wrong?
Sorry zippy, wondered why nobody answered me then saw you post above. I'm really pleased didn't think you got sale prices at MFI. I just might be able to get my kitchen before th offer ends
  • When I went in yesterday the salesman told me they had stopped taking deposits. Was he wrong or is this a new thing?

I thought that MFI were pulling out of the clubcard deals in the spring? I'm sure someone posted this in the last week. I hope I'm wrong, as I haven't yet got enough for the £250 minimum spend.

The sale will start again after at least 28 days.

They have to advertise goods for at least 28 days at a certain price, before they can use this price as the rrp.

I was told if you go in by Saturday, they may give you a substantial discount, especially if you advise that you were in during the sale.

I wanted to order my goods but not enough staff to deal with customers!!

Tescos and MFI are parting ways. The last date that you must convert AND SPEND your MFI deals tokens is end of April.

Also, end at the end of February, the minimum spend is increasing to £500 (currently £250).

Therefore, what you have currently in vouchers and your February mailing will be the last chances to get anything in (bang goes my new kitchen!)

ALSO - MFi are currently clamping down on names on the deals tokens, so be warned for those that may buy off ebay or grab their friends/families ones!

And MFI always have sales on! I am holding my last vouchers for the January sales for a new bathroom!

I was going to start a thread but see this one so going to add this here.

I went into MFI on Monday (knowing the sale ended Wednesday) to put a deposit on a bed which was 329 but reduced to 264. I wanted to put the 10% deposit in cash so that i could get the sale price and then pay the rest with my tesco deal vouchers when i got them in the post. When i phoned they told me i could do this.

Anyway, he put it all through on the computer but it wouldnt let him finalise it due to the delivery being within the next 14 days so it needed to be paid in full. I said dont worry and i will leave it but his manager said for him to print the paperwork out and sign it so i get the sale price when i go and pay for it in full with my tesco vouchers. I thought this was very nice of them and wasnt expecting such service.

Anyway i have since looked on their site and seen the same bed is not 264 or 329 (sorry no pund sign) but now 820!!!! Thats just crazy that they can put it up that much. Im just interested to know whats going to happen when my tesco vouchers come and i take my print slip with me to see if they let me have the bed for 264 still. What do you think and what if they refuse? Do you think i can play up as its been signed to say i can have it at that reduced price?
