Beaulieu Motor Museum

I am going to visit some friends in the New Forest and I have never been to Beaulieu Motor museum.

Does anyone know of any discounts for Disabled people. Couldn't find it in Accessible Britain.

I am wondering if they do Adult Pays, Carer goes in free.

I haven't been there since I became disabled but I seem to remember there being good paths. There's a bit more on the website, why not give them a ring?

Thanks - I will call them. Wondered if anyone knew on here. I know Alton Towers for example give a free ticket to accompanying carer and also no queuing through the ride exit.

I wondered if Beulieu did the carer free or half price type of thing.
  • I went there on Friday with my husband, who is my carer.

The disabled person pays £10.90 instead of about £16, and the carer goes free. They will also supply the free loan of a motorised scooter or a wheelchair, but you need to book these in advance. Most of the site is wheelchair friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit!

What proof of disability did they ask for to get the price.
  • They asked for proof of registered disability which no longer exists, but I had a disabled card which my council arranged for me when I got my Blue Badge. I also had my DLA acceptance letter, but didn't need to show this.

I would imagine a Blue Badge would be sufficient.
