Before you book anything it might be a good idea to establish the impact of your surgery on your travel insurance premium for this trip as it will most likely be classed as a PEMC even if you have made a full and proper recovery from surgery with no further treatment needed at this time.0 -
Do the reasonable flight times actually exist?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Most of the Turkey flights are late evening. We are used to it and actually prefer it now. Means that we arrive late, have the whole of the next day and have a complete last day, rather than having to set off mid day.
Have you tried otb.com, they often have good deals late season. Be aware that the hotel grades are not the same as ours 2* is probably 1*, although a 3* is a fairly safe bet, just not so many onsite amenities.
As we have our own property it is not so much of an issue for us.MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:0 -

Please do still check with your chosen insurer as some will require you to declare this as a PEMC and might as a result have either an exclusion or loading of premiums because you intend travelling within twelve months of your surgery.
I'm only offering this advice as I have recently been in a similar situation re: purchasing travel insurance even though I have been completely discharged from the consultant's care with no further follow up appointments necessary.0
