Matrimonial home - advice required please?

Hello there.

I'd be grateful for some advice.

Husband bought house in 1990.

We lived together in it from about 1992 (on and off). (For about 2 years we rented a second property to live in and rented original home out. Rental income from the marital home went into our joint bank account. My income contributed to the mortgage and household expenses for the whole of our marriage.)

Married in 1995. Didn't work for 7 years whilst children were young.

2 children now aged 11 and 13.

Seperated in 2009 - husband now seeking divorce.

I have continued to live in the marital home with my daughters during the period of separation.

We are in Scotland.

What (if anything) might I be entitled to in terms of continued occupation, capital, etc?

Obviously I'll seek legal advice but would be grateful for your experiences. I've no wish to fleece him, but do wish to ensure reasonable provision for my children.

Thanks.
DF
