HI folks
Looking to get a camcorder and would like some help please.
Price, £200 ish max ?
Not having even a clue about camcorders .... ease of use, would like something that can be pretty much point and shoot, stills option seems like a good idea. One that can be used to record several different scenes then plug into laptop USB and with cameras software support download and sort through and edit files

Still cameras are so good now on Cine, ie Panny TZ7, HD and stereo you really dont need a camcorder unless your really keen.0

I've got a flip mino hd 720 and a kodak zx1 -earlier versions of the above , and use the zx1 almost exclusively -because of the stills but only 3mp .
As above, still cameras are prob. as good but usually a bit more bulky - the thing is the pocket camcorders are so convenient that you do end up using them a lot. To me a dedicated camcorder sounds like a hassle in comparison.
Usually come with all cables to just watch straight away on tv or I just put sd card into pc.0 -
Thanks for the help, we had a look last night and will be getting a Flip 8gh generation 3 shortly :j0
