Combi boiler keeps conking :-(

I have an Ideal C28 mini combi boiler, and for the 5th time in two weeks it's conked. No heat or hot water. I have eon cover and they've been 4 times, it works for a day or so then conks again.
There is a green light on the front which flashes slowly when it it working, and rapidly when it's conked. The bar pressure is fine. Any ideas anyone?

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

You need to set the boiler into fault diagnosis mode when it has locked out by flicking the right hand dip switch on the pcb down.

This will tell you where the fault lies. Hopefully the Eon blokes have been doing this, otherwise they will be just guessing.

The fast flashing light on the front just says there is a generic fault and doesn't point to anything specific.
