The winner and a guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at the Athenaeum House Hotel, overlooking Waterford, on Ireland’s south coast. The four-star hotel, based around a 17th-century house, is ideally located for exploring the Comeragh Mountains, Lismore Castle and Waterford itself.
The prize includes return crossings for a car and passengers with Irish Ferries from Holyhead to Dublin on the Ulysses (3hr 15min) or Pembroke to Rosslare on the Isle of Inishmore (4hr). Both ships offer a Club Class with priority boarding, reserved seating and complimentary drinks and snacks. The prize must be taken by October 31, 2011, excluding July 15-August 31 and subject to availability.
