currently we have a back boiler in the front room, we are looking to change this to a condensing/combi boiler, we are also looking to place this in the loft and then convert the rest of the loft into a bedroom, questions any issues with placeing the boiler in the loft? whats the best boiler to have and roughly how much should they cost to buy and then cost to fit? any advice greatfully recieved!

Ask a few local Corgi registered plumbers to come round and give you a quote. Some boiler sites give you a rough guide on the size of boiler (in btu or KW) you need depending on the size of your house. You could ask a local plumbing supplier for advice on this, and you can pick up boiler brochures from them. The net is your oyster

Ask the independant corgi engineer if your pipes can handle the new pressure - unless you are replacing them anyway.FREEDOM IS NOT FREE0

I just got quoted £3k for a system conversion, and the fitting of a new Greenstar Si. The only extra thing I will be having done is having 2 new rad thermostats, and normal valves replaced on 3 other rads. URK!0
