I have a MBNA credit card who have just informed me they are changing the minimum payment from 2011 which will put my minimum payment up by appr £95 per month, can they do this?

It might actually help you start to reduce your debt.

(It is already 2011 by the way)

Well they can certainly try.. and I'm not aware of any successful challenge. I don't think consumer groups will get involved in a challenge because of the general attitude that forcing people to reduce debt is a "good thing".
