Car Insurace Problem

Seems about where I thought i stood, although I wasn't trying to gain extra NCD by leaving it to lapse, just avoid the large cancellation fees you alluded to but I guess that is still making a financial gain, Seems as though there is only one option really, which is what you have just said bouncydog. I've been looking at it last night/this morning and leaving it until June does seem the most financially viable option.
It isn't a "buy now or its gone" type deal but to put it into context, it's an unregistered, 60 plate Focus RS with all the options for £24,995 before they even look at part ex which they've agreed a rather generous price on too so a pretty good deal all round. We know the dealer personally and he knew I was after one and this car, along with a number of others, got a discount applied on Thursday so while it hasnt obviously sold in about a year, it may go soon but June it is then!
Thanks for all the replies and sound advice!0
