NTL - 321 Not the best deal

Firstly apologies if this has been raised 100 times before but I'm new to the board.

Anyhow bit fed up of paying OTT for full NTL TV pack so phoned to cancel the movies. Anyway cut long story short the lady said I was on the wrong sort of telephone deal. She put me onto Talk Unlimited at no extra cost (in fact would refund be 50p a month) because I had the Family pack.

I think they are just desperate to keep the customers.

0800 0520184. Told them I want to leave. Quoted Talk Talk free internet, Freeview for TV, and mobiles. They offered same tv package (base) telephone with local off peak free calls - all for £15.00/m, with new modem for internet (instead of internet via settop box).

Oh - If they ask - you do have a BT line as well

Yeah. Whenever my ntl bill rises above £30 pm, including phonecalls, I contact them and tell them I need something cheaper. They're usually happy to oblige.

It's also always worth keeping an eye on https://www.nthellworld.co.uk for news of deals.

But £15 pcm AND a separate modem is good!
