Trying to cancel 3 contract.

Ive been with 3 on a £35, 24 Month Contract since July 2010.
So as long as i can remember, i've been having some real network problems with signal. I've had issues before with signal problems, and Apple swapped my phone for me.

Unfortunately - theres no rest for the wicked and i'm still having problems. My signal is very rarely more than 1 bar when i'm at my home address or at work. This is a massive problem for me as i use my phone a lot for work.

I rang up 3, and they wont cancel my contract for any reason at all. Ive tried and tried and tried. The best thing they can do for me is give me 25% off my line rental, or 50% off my cancellation fee.

This means that they want to make me pay £180 for a cancellation of a contract that doesn't even work?! Im currently paying £30 a month for something i cant use...

...what can i say to make them cancel my contract?! There has to be SOME sort of rights i have against stuff like this. Paying for services that arent coming through? I dunno.

Thanks alot!

Nothing at all unfortunately. Not getting a decent (or any signal) in a building is not a breach of their contract with you. No network will promise a full signal everywhere, especially inside.

I'd be inclined to accept their offer of 50% off the cancelation fee, to buy out the remainer of the contract.

If you won't try another phone, how do you know that the problem is with the network?
    Gone ... or have I?
