I agree with astonsmummy, dont give if your going to do so grudgingly, most people who have posted on this board are writing quite nasty comments, why buy people gifts if youre not happy to.

Why? Because it's so easy to get sucked into the cycle of what's expected - I'm 'lucky' - I've recognised the fact and pulled out - but I'm still 'wrong'....

Haven't read the whole thread yet but what springs to mind when I read this is mayb a little uncharitable but I'm going to say it anyway...how about getting him nothing then? Or buy him a charity goat. Teach him the value of money and that others aren't lucky enough to have a white velor tracksuit and burberry cap.
