Adding Audio to Blogger?

Hi - hope this isn't too simple a question for you all.
I do quite a few blogs on our village - but am no expert!
Just thinking about how would it be if I added audio clips of people describing the places of interest?
I see blogger doesn't host audio stuff so I'd have to get a digital dictaphone to record - then upload to a free server of some sort -any ideas/recommendations or advice?

How about get yourself a google mail account and host it on the google documents?
Or host it on youtube and embed it?0 -
I've not managed to stream audio on a blogger page with the audio hosted on Google Docs (if anyone has managed this please post a howto), but I have successful done it using Google Sites to host the audio.
- Go to sites.google.com and create a new blank site
- Add a new "file-cabinet" page to your blank site
- Upload your audio file to your filing cabinet page (mp3)
- Copy the download link to your audio file, it'll look like the following (you don't need the part in red, also the s bit in https isn't needed)
https://sites.google.com/site/lakeuk/files/TheMikeParrBreakfastShow_.mp3?attredirects=0&d=1
- In your blogger post place the following piece of code, replacing the bit in red with the equivalent of the above for your audio file
<embed flashvars="" id="AudioPlayback" src="http://mail.google.com/mail/html/audio.swf?audioUrl=filename.mp3" style="height: 27px; width: 500px;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed>
- So your code should look like this
<embed flashvars="" id="AudioPlayback" src="http://mail.google.com/mail/html/audio.swf?audioUrl=http://sites.google.com/site/lakeuk/files/TheMikeParrBreakfastShow_.mp3" style="height: 27px; width: 500px;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed>
- Check that it plays ok in preview then publish it

Thanks - have never heard of google sites so will try that - only ever done blogger (just tried but they don't seen to wnat to open the account!).
Yes youtube might also be the answer - if I saved the recording presumably I could have the picture of the place being talked about on the screen too?
