That sounds more like an earth fault on the dash, or a fuse problem.
It may well upset the oil level indicator as well.0 -
I've driven to work and back today (20 minutes each way) and it was fine! Freaky. I'm just relieved. Long may it continue.0

As Mikey says, I think you have some electrical gremlins there and not an oil pressure issue.
Good luck with that being an intermittent issue, the hardest fault to track down.
As sure as day follows night, when you take it to a garage to be investigated it wont play up!0 -
