in Credit cards
hi all, im not a massive credit card buff so its all a bit overwhelming seeing all the various ones now on offer.
I currently have the MBNA platinum visa which i get nothing in rewards or cashback and would like to change this to something which offers me something back.
Im having some building work done shortly and wish to use a card to protect me and hopefully grab a bit back.
I do spend on it on a regular basis but not my shopping i dont have a 30K income either.
my money is currently coming in via the postoffice account and so i dont have a credit score it seems although my card is paid off every month in full and always has been so i have no debt.
i only have a halifax cardcash account and after trying for the clarity card recently and being refused on basis that i have no credit score good or bad im in need of some help and direction.
many thanks

How can you not have a credit score when you have an MBNA credit card??
Why is your money coming in from a post office account?? Benefits?0 -
If you already have an MBNA card for some time, it may be the easiest to apply for any of the newer MBNA cashback cards if you fancy those.
MBNA doesn't have an issue having several cards with them, the only "catch" is that they consider your combined limit on all cards. If you apply for a new card, chances are they want to talk to you to shuffle the limits around - you can even close your old cards at the same call, so that you can have your old limit completely on the new card.Enjoy the silence...0 -

Yeah but applying for a MBNA credit card require a high income and by the sounds of it someone who has their money going through a PO account are normally people who receive benefits(allowance)
If this is true how come she has a MBNA card,I might be wrong though!!0
