  • Hi Angie,
Your husband is probably like mine too. He earns a good wage and therefore does not see an issue, however you realise you are sinking and want to float. I am a complete convert to saving money and now I am addicted and even drag my husband kicking and screaming into poundland! I have microsoft money and that has really really helped me, I know exactly what I spend and how I spend it, you can do charts and graphs and although you have to input your spends, all your monthly direct debits are automatic once you set it up. It has been my lifesaver and now we seriously have no debt. I spread my money saving tips at work now and they can't wait for the next one. You probably don't have to become as addicted as me, but you can make a difference.

I also had the vino issue - blooming laithwaites!! now I buy 4 small bottles for £5 from Tesco and thats my weekly limit - it somehow works because it is still a bottle a time but a very small 175 ml one.

I would keep the gym to keep you sane unless you really really need to cancel it.

    Good luck with your journey
