will redundancy payout be affected by recent sick days?

My mum has volunteered for redundancy. She has worked 2 nights a week for a nursing home for 21 years. She has had a couple of sick days(nights) over the past few weeks.
What she is wondering is, will the redundancy payout (if she is selected) be based on her "normal" (contracted) weekly pay, or the average pay she's been getting over the last 12 weeks (she's not been getting any sick pay)?
The websites I've looked at don't make it clear and her employers are usless at telling her anything
Hope someone can clarify, thank you xx

While being off over the past few weeks may have affected her being chosen for redundancy (although i would say for it to be "fair" it would have to be over a longer period as someone could never take a day off for 5 years then just have an unfortunate time getting ill), it shouldnt affect her redundancy payout.
What does her contract say? They sometimes offer a better redundancy package than statutory minimum. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
AIUI If the contract if fixed then it should be for the fixed hours.
Now is also the time to make sure she has been getting the correct holiday pay.0
