comparison sites for car insurance - insurers

We're looking for a new car so I've been doing lots of quotes on comparison sites, all was going well until yesterday afternoon when I noticed the premiums coming back had got a lot more expensive. I've realised that approx 35 insurers are no longer offering quotes on compare the market. I thought maybe it was an issue with their site so left it until today, but I'm still seeing the same thing.

As well as the meerkat site, I've also been using Go Compare and Money supermarket, so not sure if they've taken offence at me shopping around?!

I've tried using two browsers (Chrome and IE) to see if it was a cookie thing, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Has anyone seen this before? if so how did you fix it?

It was more likely to be that one of the software houses that act as an 'data warehouse' between some Insurers and the comparison websites was not working for a time. I think if you try it now it should be fine. Nothing to do with your browser or cookies.
