Hi,
Not sure if i'm in the right forum and appologise if i am not but i cant seem to see Martins best accounts to start with. i need to open a new current account after talking to payplan but dont know what the best would be? only very basic, card, paying in book etc. but NOT with Barclays or HSBC.

there is a current account forum.
I would go to https://www.moneysupermarket.com and go to to money and current accounts and then basic bank accounts
they seem to vary as to whether they will take you or not, if you see the current account forum there are a few threads on there that may help youIndecision is the key to flexibility
