Dh has lost his job today

dh just phone the company he works for has stopped trading as from today. what benefits will we be entitled to. I work 25 hours a week. my hours are going to be reduce soon as i work for our local council so possibly will loose 12 hours a week. and we have 1 child age 10. I would be really grateful if anyone could give me any advice.

Is he entitled to redundancy pay?
If he is and his company is unable to pay due to insolvency he can apply for Statutory Redundancy from the National Insurance Fund

If he's paid full N.I. contributions for the last two years he'll be able to claim contributions based JSA, if not, he may be able to claim income based JSA.

yes we get family tax credit it the lowest amount you get because of our income well what was our income . it looks like thing are going to get a lot worst, 14 men lost there jobs today without any notice so everyone's in shock really. hes pays full tax ans national insurance. and not sure if he will get redundancy pay. he started to work for this company 2004, but was taken over last year by another company if you see what i mean. so not sure when they will take it from. his contract is 2004 and he didn't sign a new contract last year for the new company.0
