Administration Order though County Court - How do you pay yours?

Options
Appologies if this is the wrong area, i can't decide where to put this.

I have an Administration order though my local county court, the only options for paying the monthly amount that they offer is payment by cash.
I argued out with the court that this was difficult for me as it would mean once a month taking a morning off work to go over and pay the fee (i live 15 miles from the court) as the court is only open 9 - 5 (the hours i work)

I have finally got them to agree i could send a cheque each month instead, although Ive now had a letter from my bank (NatWest) saying that they are discontinuing cheques!! (which is great when i only have 4 cheques left in my book )

Is it just me or does this seem a bit daft, in this day and age they wont let me set up a direct debit or standing order to make the payment with, even just calling up and paying over the phone with my card would be a lot better.

Im just wondering how other courts let people pay their administration order?

I am trying my best to pay off this AO, but i am thinking the courts are not even trying to help by making it easier for people like myself to pay off the debt!! :(

Unfortunately the courts do not currently have the facility to accept payment by direct debit or standing order. Credit card machines are slowly being phased in to all the courts so pretty soon they should be able to offer payment that way. Payment cards are even newer and eventually every one with an Adminstration Order will be sent a payment card to use to pay their AO if they wish.

The payment methods are slowly being modernised but as there isn't a massive amount of money available at the minute it may take a while to filter through.
