Hi,
I have just bought one of these monitors from Ebuyer. I have just contacted them regarding the 2 year on site swap warranty and they are stating that this is dealt with by Benq and not them. I feel that this is slightly misleading as there is nothing in the description about this.
What do others think?

As someone who has been buying monitors etc for work for the last 15 years I know that all onsite warranties are handled by the manufacturer and I imagine they expect others to know this but I agree it isn't made clear on the website. Register with the manufacturer (there will be a piece of paper in the box telling you how to) and if any problems occur, contact the manufacturer.
I know people will come on and say your contract is with the the retailer, but when the manufacturer offers an onsite service it is stupid not to take advantage of it - hopefully you won't ever need to use it.0 -
What is misleading? the monitor is sold with a 2 year warranty and you are recieving a 2 year warranty, surely thats as described?0

What are you trying to do pick holes?
Why don't you just contacty Benq and make your life easier rather than trying to argue about something!0 -
I believe that your contract is with the retailer as far as your statutory rights are concerned, but if they offer anything above and beyond those, then they are entitled to stipulate how that is handled.0

Where is the misleading information? You have a 2 year warranty what's misleading about that?0
